About Jacquelyn Umof (aka Action Jacquelyn):

Jacquelyn is an international yoga and fitness trainer, educator, speaker, and founder of her two online training programs – Get Stretchy, a yoga therapy stretching program, and the Stretchy Fit App, a yoga-fitness monthly membership app helping women gain flexibility, strength and confidence at home. She’s a former ballerina, NBA Laker Girl, ballroom dancer and celebrity fitness trainer. However, in her career she found herself suffering from crippling anxiety and panic attacks. This led her down a path to discover a natural solution to her suffering instead of medication. After one of her first yoga experiences, Jacquelyn found that when she became present in her body the anxiety went away. The anxiety couldn’t survive in the present moment. After this pivotal moment, she realized she had the least anxiety when she had the most mind-body connection. This has inspired Jacquelyn’s work after her transformative breakthrough experience. Jacquelyn is passionate about educating people on the importance of stretching and how it builds a better, stronger relationship with their body and mind.

  1. This has become my favourite “day after a long run active recovery” workout – I get a nice little sweat and endorphins going, and it makes me feel all stretchy and limber.

  2. This is one of my fav. workouts of yours. ( Barre is what I here for anyway) I am going through a very hard time of my life these days and you are my ‘Cheer-up tool’😀😀before bedtime yesterday I’ve done this and one of your meditations on your App on train on my way to work. This helps me to keep strong and organised without inviting chaos in my life these days.. Thank you! App is fantastic too

  3. I really liked the class, but I couldn't stand you breathing heavy. I guess that is because I know it's fake because if you need to breathe heavy like that then you are not in shape. I believe the latter is not true because you look fantastic. Please don't do the breathing thing in your videos.

  4. Absolutely loved it! 🥵💖 Great combination of graceful and really tough. Please do more of these! Also I don’t mind the counting in 10s and the switch from counting in 20s. Helps mix it up a bit in my mind as the mental challenge is the really hard part 😄

  5. Love your workouts! Your counting is terrible tho. You always say 20 and then you get to 10 and then you start talking and then we keep going and then you say 10 more so altogether we’re doing like 30 or 35 I recommend not saying how many and letting us watch and stick with you. Other than that great workouts.

  6. Jacquelyn! Thank you for you. I love your approach and perspective on workouts and life. I found you on Alo moves back in 2015 (I think), and downloaded a few workout packages there. Since then, you continue to cross my path for good reason, I need you and your Stretchy Fit community in my life. I'm 45 and found myself out of shape since well, 2020, and I know deep down this is what I need along with walking and hiking. Thank you for your positive influence, inspiration that…yes I can.
