Healthy dressings don’t always have to be vinaigrette! I love this creamy vegan recipe from @hazel.and.blue I’ve modified it slightly based on ingredients available and taste preference. Try either version for a yummy way to dress any salad with lots of nutritional benefits like Omega-3s, B12 and beta glucans!
1/2 cup hemp seeds
5 Tbsp. olive oil
5 Tbsp. fresh squeezed citrus of juice (orange, lemon, blood orange, etc.)
2 Tbsp. nutritional yeast
1 clove garlic, peeled
1 Tbsp dijon or spicy brown mustard
1 drop doTERRA lemon essential oil (optional)
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
Blend it all up in a blender cup, traditional blender or food processor. You can add extra juice or oil if it’s too thick. Enjoy!
